 sql stored procedures using try catch ,how to raise error staement

i am create stored procedure , using try-catch ,. in that i am taking sid interger filed . it is interger , but i pass
varchar .then it shows raise error . using try -catch exception .

how is it possible ,

Hi,

If you declared Integer in Stored Procedure, then you have to pass Integer value. You can validate the input before you pass it to the stored procedure. SQL does not have any validation technique, so you have to do it prior you pass it.
